Kurzgesagt is proof that you can be really really smart but still come to absolutely crazy conclusions. You'd think that thinking everything through as in depth as he has he would logically conclude that we were created by God. But nope. He can't accept the obvious because it goes against his humanist religion.

I disagree with the premise that it is unexpected that we have not observed life on other planets. The vast majority of life supporting planets are much too far away to allow sufficiently detailed observation to reach this conclusion. Second, the “filter” is portrayed as some destructive force. It may be as simple as the fact that travel at the speeds required to settle other regions of one’s Galaxy is simply not physically possible or at least not practical. I think this video is making incorrect assumptions about the significance of the fact that we have neither encountered other life forms nor colonized our own galaxy.

The first part is just evolution.. The rest part is just nonsense. This filter we already discussed at class in university and this theory has too many holes and might only fills the philosophy aspect of evolution theory... Nah bad video, do more research
