I'm interested to know if anyone actually laughed at this video? I didn't understand what this video was going on about half way through. So I looked at the description and it was labelled with the 'funny' tag. Oh, it's meant to be funny. So I prepared myself to laugh. I didn't. I was also prepared to learn. I didn't.

I mean, I think it was fairly easy to tell which parts were real and which parts were meant to be funny. I laughed at the end but I think most of the little blurbs in the middle were designed to keep people watching the video. If you're not well-versed in thermodynamics, like most people aren't, that video would come off as extremely boring without a little humor added. Since he added the humor, more people learn the material than would have without it, because otherwise many people would have simply stopped watching when they got bored.

Those stupid jokes probably help remember facts, like mnemonic techniques... You certainly can remember the joke, so you can now remember the acronyms
